Oni Skullby *Winneganfake

...We tracked the beast into the deep forest, high on the mountain slopes. A fierce stom rose up, however, separating us from our prey. Lightning struck amid the trees, starting numerous fires, and forcing us back to our camp.

The next day, we followed the remains of the trail through the charred remnants of the fire. At the trail's end, we found only the one piece, which now graces our collection. As you can see, the jawbone has fused into the upper part of the skull. It's unusual though- we now this monster was alive only the day before, and yet the skull shows large-scale signs of petrification. Odder still, however, is that it seems to be ossifying from the inside outward- lawyer of calcium stripping off of solid granite.

Media: plaster, and nothing but. I'm a bit dissatisfied on this one, only because I'd hoped the fnished piece to be wearable. It's not, unless you've got a very thin face. Still, it's a good bookshelf/wall-mounting piece.
